Kerala, a state on India’s tropical Malabar Coast, has nearly 600km of Arabian Sea shoreline. It’s known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals. Inland are the Western Ghats, mountains whose slopes support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife. National parks like Eravikulam and Periyar, plus Wayanad and other sanctuaries, are home to elephants, langur monkeys and tigers.
DAY 1
Arrive Kochi
Welcome to Kerala – The Gods own Country. On arrival at Kochi airport or Ernakulum railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel. In afternoon will start the Kochi city tour visit the St. Francis Church, the Mattencherry Palace, and the Jewish Synagogue and view the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi area, back to the hotel Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 2
Drive to Munnar (130 Kms / approx. 04 hours)
Today morning after breakfast proceed on a drive through the picturesque Munnar. On arrival, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 3
In Munnar
Today after breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Munnar where you will enjoy visiting sections of old Munnar, which includes the charming old Christ Church, Tata Tea Museum. Later you will also visit Mattupetty Lake. The evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 4
Drive to Thekkady (105 Kms / approx. 03 ½ hours)
Today morning drive to Thekkady /Periyar the land of spice plantations. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. Later, walk through the spice market in the Kumily Village. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 5
Drive to Alleppey (110 Kms / approx. 04 hours)
Today early in the morning enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Periyar (boats can be hired directly), to observe wildlife in the Periyar Sanctuary. After breakfast, drive to the relaxing backwaters of Alleppey and check-in to your Houseboat. Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight stay in Houseboat
DAY 6
Drive to Kumarakom (51 Kms / approx. 01 ½ hour)
Today after breakfast check out from the Alleppey and drive to your resort in Kumarakom. On arrival Kumarakom check-in to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel
DAY 7
Depart to Kochi (190 Kms / approx. 05 hours)
Today you will be transferred to Kochi airport / Ernakulum railway station for your onward journey as your tour comes to end with sweet memories. TOUR ENDS
